NEWMEXICO-EXPEDITION assumes no liability or responsibility for any vehicle damage, injury, loss of life (including both human and animal), forest fires, trespassing incidents, damage to private property, vehicle citations, discharge of firearms, or littering, whether occurring during NEWMEXICO-EXPEDITION events or events recommended by NEWMEXICO-EXPEDITION. NEWMEXICO-EXPEDITION also does not accept liability for any routes or camp locations recommended. By participating in NEWMEXICO-EXPEDITION events or events and trails recommended by NEWMEXICO-EXPEDITION, users acknowledge and accept that they undertake the journey at their own risk. Users must exercise caution and prioritize trail safety at all times during their travels.

In the event that users encounter trails marked as "hard" or "difficult" along the designated route(s), it is strongly recommended to discontinue further progression. Weather conditions can impact the condition of the route(s), and due to the remote nature of the trails, regular maintenance cannot be guaranteed.

All camping locations are situated within the boundaries of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) or National Forest areas, which may involve traversing various types of land. Users are strongly advised to avoid passing through private property, understanding that any such decision is entirely at their own risk. Users must ensure they possess all necessary documents and permits required for their journey, assuming full responsibility for compliance.

It is crucial to stay informed about fire restrictions in the specific area where camping takes place. Users are obligated to adhere to all local and state laws governing their activities.

Event Changes or Cancellations: Event changes, cancellations, or rescheduling may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, safety concerns, or regulatory issues.

Code of Conduct: Expected behavior and conduct standards for participants include mutual respect, cooperation, and adherence to rules and regulations.

Firearm Disclaimer:

NEWMEXICO-EXPEDITION supports the lawful possession and use of firearms in accordance with state and local laws. Participants are permitted to carry firearms for camp/group security from wildlife if attacked. However, strict guidelines must be followed:

Firearms must be carried and handled in a safe manner at all times.

Users must comply with all state and local laws regarding firearm possession and use.

Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited while in possession of a firearm.

Any individual found to be violating firearm safety protocols or exhibiting unsafe behavior will be asked to leave immediately and may be banned from future NEWMEXICO-EXPEDITION events.

NEWMEXICO-EXPEDITION maintains a zero-tolerance policy for firearms-related incidents or violations of safety rules.

Participants are encouraged to undergo firearm safety training and to familiarize themselves with relevant laws and regulations. Additionally, users are reminded of their responsibility to report any concerns or incidents involving firearms to expedition leaders promptly.
